Brixton Bonus: and the winner is…

Well that was a hectic weekend! As you know, we opened the first Brixton Bonus draw last month, and have been selling tickets online, at market stalls in Brixton, and finally at the Country Show in time for the inaugural draw, which took place backstage behind the main stage with none other than Mr Levi Roots, who then joined us on stage to announce the winning number!

And that’s when it turned out that while we know the winning ticket, we don’t know who it belongs to! As announced, the jackpot prize was won by someone who purchased a physical ticket on the second day of the show – card number 00205. Everyone who bought their tickets in the form of a card is required to go to our website and update it with their personal details. If this doesn’t happen then we can’t make contact in the event of a winning ticket. We did explain this to everyone who purchased a physical ticket, with added instructions on the ticket itself, however we know that some people may not have gone to our website to update their details immediately.

As laid out in our T&Cs, winning tickets must claim their prize within 30 days, or else the claim is forfeited and we will re-run the draw. Therefore the winning ticket has until Tuesday 18 August to get in touch and claim their prize.

We hope the winner steps forward! Lost tickets do happen in lotteries and let’s be honest, missing out on B£1,000 isn’t quite the same as missing out on £3million…

But some people did win!

While the jackpot ticket is out there somewhere, a number of runner up cash prizes were awarded! Clare, Emerald, Patrik, and John each won B£20 and had their winnings deposited into their accounts earlier today. One runner up prize is still outstanding, card number 00075. As above, get in touch to claim your prize!

Prizes donated by Brixton businesses Seven, 20 Storey, Lowie and Brixton Therapy Centre were also won by six lucky people! We have informed all prize winners and will hopefully be able to share with you all soon their reactions and their thoughts on the inaugural Brixton Bonus!
