Managing your account

Pay by Text operates much like a mobile phone ‘pay as you go top-up’ system. You need to open a B£e account on-line where you will be able to transfer money or set-up a standing order to top-up credit into the account. Customers then have credit to pay by text instantaneously at any of the participating businesses. You can check your balance by text whenever you want.

How does it work?

Once you have an account set-up you can Pay by Text in two simple steps:

1) You send a text to B£e bank (07797 880200) instructing payment to a B£ business with your unique PIN, the businesses’ username and the amount to be paid.

e.g. ”pay 1234 whitehorse 12.99″  (1234 is your pin and whitehorse is the name of the businesss you want to pay)

2) B£e bank will send a text to both the B£e business and the customer confirming the transaction and payment received.  The transaction is then complete.

An error message will be received if the wrong PIN is entered or if the customer has insufficient funds.
